Kiwanis Club Kiddyland

Clayton Pickard, the full-time train Engineer for the Kiwanis Club Kiddyland in Duncan, Oklahoma, celebrated his last year in the seat. After 13 years of driving the train in Duncan, he decided to retire from the position and enjoy Kiddyland “on the other side of things,” says Chris Genn, President of the Duncan Kiwanis Club.

Clayton started part time in 2008 and has since driven the track, stretching 1,167 feet long, around 50,000 to 60,000 miles over his career. He has since had the chance to watch generations of children, their parents, grandparents and other family members grow up on the very same train.
